I'm Carl Brown, a Liverpool-based wig and hair stylist specialising in creative wig styling, vintage hair and professional education.
I started my first hair business in Liverpool in 2014, specialising in vintage and creative hair styling. Since then, my work has developed into a much wider career across hair, wigs and education, working with thousands of clients and students in the UK and around the world.
Wig styling is now a huge part of what I do. I create custom synthetic wigs for clients worldwide, from classic Hollywood-inspired styles to much bigger creative pieces for performers, drag artists and anyone looking for something completely individual.
Education has grown alongside my styling work. I teach both hair and wig styling through online courses and in-person classes, sharing the techniques I've developed throughout my career with stylists and creatives around the world.
Over the years I've also had the opportunity to work with brands and events including Revlon Professional, GHD, L'Oréal and London Fashion Week.
I'm now based at It's The Hair Studio in Liverpool's Baltic Triangle, where I work alongside Ryan Bailey and continue to offer hair styling, bridal work, wig styling and education.
